"Within two short years since I started running, I had managed to injure or irritate almost every major muscle group in my lower body. Like every runner with a competitive streak, I prescribed to the "no pain, no gain" mentality and had come to accept that pain and running injuries were just part of the price I had to pay for my lifestyle. Christina Ricketts and Mighty Warrior changed all that.
It turns out that the majority of running problems and repetitive use injuries stem from a poor understanding of running mechanics, and for the most part, bad posture and running form. One can read about proper running form, one can watch elite athletes exhibit good running form, but one cannot really emulate a proper form without a bit of help. People who struggle with swimming form can attest to that. This is where I found Mighty Warrior's approach to be the most beneficial. Sure, the exercise drills and one on one attention were helpful.
